Our Team
Rev. Elsa Johnson Bass is an ordained minister of the Church of God (Anderson,IN) and a retired educator. A New York trained actor and director, she taught acting, musical theater and children's theater at the Philadelphia High School for Creative and Performing Arts (CAPA) for twenty one years.
She holds a Masters' degree in Theater (Hunter College) and a Masters' Degree in Educational Leadership (Cabrini College). A nationally sought speaker, conference leader, director and playwright Rev. Bass serves as an Associate Pastor at the Christ Center Church of God in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
She is the Founder and Artistic Director of Christian Theater Workshop
and Cross Culture Christian Theater..

Marguerite Sutton, grew up in Philadelphia, Pa. An alumni of Creative & Performing Arts High School majoring in Theater. She received her undergraduate degree in Broadcasting at Point Park University of Pittsburgh, Pa and masters degree from in Urban Education at Eastern University.
She was the President of the Black Student Union, on campus Radio Show Host of WPPJ’s Best Talk Show "Biddy Talk", Producer and Host for Sound Sessions music television program, and an Ambassador of Point Park’s 2HOURS 2 CHANGE mentoring program.
She completed an internship at Walt’s Disney Resort in Orlando, Florida, The Artist United and Nicetown CDC “Walk for Peace and Community “Give Back” Concerts”, Unison Kids Motown Review and Clear Channel POWER 99FM in Philadelphia PA.
Marguerite was employed by Embassy Row, in NY and Conflict Resolution Theater Co. She is currently an acting teacher and coach for children. Marguerite’s professionalism is infectious. Her love for the process of production has landed her roles as a stage manager and assistant director at Cross Culture Christian Theater Company. She is a woman who recognizes opportunity and seeks to shape her future through action.
